Last time, we brought you tips on how to prevent frozen pipes. But, in some cases your pipes may have frozen already or they freeze in the future. We are bringing you some helpful hints on how to help with frozen pipes.
In case of frozen pipes in your home:
- Keep the faucet dripping, even if no water is streaming.
- Apply heat to the frozen area. Try a heating pad or hair dryer.
- Apply heat until water is restored.
- If you still can’t get it running again, call a licensed plumber.
