Until help arrives here are some tips from FEMA on the what, where, and when of floods.

What: Flooding can occur in only a few inches of water or reach the rooftop of a house.

Where: It can happen anywhere, but especially near low-lying areas

When: Flooding can happen in any season but check your local weather stations for times that your area is at a greater risk!
