One of the most common types of water damages we see are when customers are not at home and an unexpected event occurs that leaves their home in inches of water.
When you are leaving for a vacation, or even just a weekend trip, make sure there is someone who can watch your home. If they cannot be there, try to make sure to turn off all your water valves. These two tips can keep you from coming home to a house full of water.
Another way to keep water damages from your home is to seal any areas where flood waters can enter your home. We see flood damages in Kentucky on a regular basis. You may think your home is safe, but doing a double check of the areas around you home can keep you from paying thousands of dollars or making an insurance claim.
